True Type fonts that are installed by Windows

During a typical installation, Windows installs the following TrueType fonts into the Windows\Fonts folder. Because Windows and other applications may require one or more of these fonts to run and to display dialog boxes correctly, it is recommended that you do not remove them from the Fonts folder.

Windows also installs several hidden font files (e.g., Dosapp.fon and Vgafix.fon), which do not appear in the Fonts Control Panel, but may appear in font management utilities, such as Adobe Type Manager. Windows requires these hidden font files to run; do not remove them from the Fonts folder.

FONTES INSTALADAS NO WINDOWS

Durante a instalação do Windows, algumas fontes são instaladas numa pasta chamada FONTES. Estas fontes são necessárias para a abertura e leitura correta de caixas de diálogo do programa. Assim, recomenda-se JAMAIS remover da pasta as fontes abaixo relacionadas.

O Windows também instala diversas fontes como ARQUIVO OCULTO, que não são visíveis no Painek de Controle mas são necessárias para a utilização de diversos aplicativos. Assim, caso vc configure suas pastas para mostrar arquivos ocultos, NÃO REMOVA as fontes que eventualmente encontrar não importa em que pasta.
